Sacral dimple

My son is 6 months, almost 7, born with a sacral dimple and tuft of hair. He was referred for an ultrasound but they couldn't see the spinal cord properly due to bones being in the way so he has an MRI booked for tomorrow morning
I'm kinda worried there may be a risk of him having spina bifada? I know it's really rare though, I guess my question is has anyone else been through this?

Hi. My son had a sacral dimple but no hair. He's not had any problems and they'll just check to see that it's below a certain level in the spine. I think they can usually see any serious cases of spina bifida on pregnancy scans and if his movements etc are all progressing normally then it will hopefully all be fine.
