I'm scared my dd is going to be too clever for me......

.......dd is really good at talking, but yesterday she made me cringe at what's to come.

Her grandad was pushing her down the slide and she said 'I do it on myself grandad'

so i corrected 'by yourself dd'

and she said 'no mummy not bought myself'

how exactly does dd (age 2.9yo) make the connection between buy (obviously that's what she took it as) and bought???

I'm left wondering exactly how pedantic she's going to be when she's older!!!!

They never cease to amaze you! DD also has very well developed language skills but sometimes the brain is obviously working over time!! Can't think of a specific example right now but know how you feel!!
