What do your 5-7 year olds eat?

Exactly that really! I have a 5 & almost 7 year old, when they were babies would eat absolutely everything. Now it takes me all my time to get veg down them. 7 year old isn’t as bad with veg now but 5 year old is shocking! But they won’t even eat pasta, rice, wraps, anything that I would love them to eat cos I love it myself. My husband is the same tbf. Most meals equate to meat, some form of potato and veg. Boring. I feel like all I feed the kids is junk, beige food with a forcing vegetable here and there. Sick of it! Trying to lose weight but end up
Cooking 3 different meals and I can’t be arsed with it cos I hate cooking anyway. What do your kids eat? Any way I can help introduce some of the nicer healthier stuff without them turning it away before they’ve even tried it?

Hi, my 6 year old enjoys:

Baked salmon or cod
Pesto pasta
Spag bol
Lasagne
Chicken kievs
Gammon streak
Lamb chops
Pork chops
Roasted chicken drummers
Any Sunday roast type meal (all meats)
Will eat most vegetables
White rice, pasta and boiled potatoes (but not mashed or roasties)

Eg. Last night baked salmon, new potatoes, broccoli and tomatoes
