Hair brushing

Please can I have any tips on getting my four year old daughter to brush her hair regularly!

Is her hair long? Does it easily tangle?
When my dd was 3 ish we had her hair cut into a bob that cane to about the bottom of her ears. It was much easier to brush her hair when it was shorter and by age 5 she understood that if she wanted long hair then she had to sit still for hair brushing.

Have you tried a hairbrush for tangly hair and detangling spray (if that's her problem)?

Thank you! Now she's started school she's started brushing her hair - hurrah!
