Spinning in circles

My DS is 3 and a half and recently will spin in a circle (at home, don't think I've ever seen him do it out) for a little while (probably not all that long, maybe less than a minute, certainly no more than two minutes) and then will sit down saying "I'm dizzy!" Or "the house is falling down!" Or similar.

He is doing it more often recently, maybe once or twice a day, not every day but we've been at home more with it being the summer holidays.

Does this sound "normal"? For context I do worry about autism, but I am an anxious person.

Sounds normal to me. Spinning in circles is fun!

It can be an autism thing, to do with sensory input, but it can also just be a fun thing to do when you're three. Do you have any other concerns? On its own, it wouldn't worry me.

A lot of party games involve spinning a person round and round before letting them loose so I'd say normal.

I did that when I was little and I'm not autistic. It's fun when you're tiny and made of rubber but I wouldn't try it now!
