Please help my child constant throat clearing

After a cold 2 months ago. My 4 year old daughter started constantly clearing her throat. I thought it was most likely post nasal drip but it got worse. Like 10 times every 5 seconds. Her ENT said possibly reflux and gave her meds but it’s not helping. She’s only 4 so she just says it hurts. I’m so stressed. And I’m crying literally everyday about it because nothing is working. What can i do about it?!!! Anyone ever been through this??? I need help please

My ds had this and it was a tic. I also found it extremely stressful and it was very difficult not to tell him to stop it. If it's a tic then drawing attention to it will just make it worse so best to go into another room when you're finding it difficult. Chances are it will pass in a few months.
