Hi guys
We have a 9 month old baby boy who is a quite tall boy for his age and we have been arguing about keeping him rear facing for as long as possible! I’m all for keeping him rear for as long as possible, safer option is always the best option in my eyes but my partner thinks his legs will get crushed and he thinks we should turn him round when we get the stage 2 so there is no need for paying extra for the car seats that keep him rear facing until 4. What happens with the legs? My theory was the seat goes back a lot more than the carrier and they have plenty off space? I’m looking at the joie 360 as that has isofix rear and forward up to 18kg, as his nana would take him when I’m back at work and she would find it easy with the isofix, so that’s another reason why I am heading for the joie 360, that goes upto 18kg rear forward which is around 4 years old?
Anyone with tall babies got one a these and found the legs did get crushed or there was plenty off space? How long did everyone keep their baby rear facing?
Thanks x
