My 19mo DS has recently started banging his head on the floor / cot / wall whenever he's annoyed. It's a purposeful action and he will do it repeatedly until it hurts too much, and then he'll start to cry.
His speech is really good, and he knows a few baby signs, so I don't think it's an issue with expressing what he wants, but obviously he's experiencing all these emotions and doesn't know how to express himself regarding those.
I'm not sure what to do about it or whether it's something I should be worried about.
Anyone experienced anything similar?
