11 week old seems frustrated

Hi guys
Just wondered if anyone else has been through similar.
Our 11 week old is coming on leaps and bounds, grabbing at toys and rolling half way over. She seems to be really easily upset at the moment, like we are not sure if she is over stimulated, bored or annoyed at wanting to do more. She is really squirmy, she seems bored to lie down, doesn’t like the sling. We can hold her for a bit but she tries to get away after a few minutes.
She sleeps really well at night, didn’t have colic or any other issues (touch wood)
She just seems really quick to cry lol, my wife says we aren’t doing anything wrong, it’s not really bothering us beyond me worrying that our baby is “unhappy”
Thanks all

Hi @Jasonh we're just bumping this thread for you in the hope that some Mumsnetters will be along shortly with some advice.

She seems like my DD was. I think basically she was very social and wanted to explore but couldn’t do was very frustrated and wanted constant amusement and noise from mummy/daddy. It must be very frustrating being a baby and seeing something interesting but you can’t walk, crawl, point or tell mum/dad that you want it. My DD also slept very well at night. When DD could crawl she became ‘happier’ as then she could get to what she wanted to see and grab!
