Hi everyone,

My daughter is 2.8 year old diagnosed with Microcephaly (HC is 43.5 cm for 32 months). So at 32 months now she doesn't tell any meaning full word but just babbles and I feel she has some Cognitive delays (I'm scared in future it might turn into learning disability)
Any mum here whose kid has Microcephaly and how they are progressing with speech and learning? What to expect in future ? How you are helping your children to learn new things? Please suggest and share your thoughts.

I don’t have any direct experience of microcephaly but wanted to bump this for you. The lack of speech at this age does suggest some delay (in this area) - have you seen your GP, Health Visitor etc? Has she had her 2 year check? What were the results for this?
