DS1 was around 12-13 weeks (definitely by 13). DS2 was 9 weeks! Also smiling at just before 3 weeks so I think he's a particularly chirpy chap. I have friends who say their babies were months old though so not sure when they are "supposed" to.

@Confusedandworried321 ah that's good! I'm just waiting for it .... I hope it happens soon as I'm a little worried about her as she's so small, but has been doing most things , smiling, lifting head, rolling over.
Thank you :)

My son was at around 10 weeks... He laughed at his grandparents on Christmas eve so vert memorable! And he babbled early too - he's always been incredibly vocal. However, he's slow at the physical stuff - at 9 months old He's still not crawling and has only just properly started rolling!! They all do different things at different paces so don't worry. It IS nice when they first start smiling and laughing though isn't it... you finally feel like you're getting something back!
