Toddler music and dance in Middlesex / Surrey / London

Are there any MNers who know of a toddler music class with dance in it. My 18 month dd loves music. She has taught herself to dance (wiggle, woble, whatever you want to call it). SO I eagerly signed her and the nanny up for Monkey Music. My dd is also quite the busy/active toddler. Always m oving and doing, only briefly listening. The problem is the Monkey Music teacher said that dd moving around was disruptive to the class. She is 18 months old! Did they really think she was going to sit and listen on command... I'm afraid that's not likely. So, now I'm wondering if there could possibly be a music class that incorporates some movement / dance. We live in Sunbury. But they could travel (by train) anywhere from Sunbury/North West Surrey / Kington/Richmond/Midlesex/West or Central London.

She is so motivated by music that comes on (even for 5 seconds), I think it would be such a shame to miss encouraging this natural inclination.

Any ideas would be very much appreciated!!

Thanks.

I know that a Gymboree Play and Music has opened in St Margarets (I haven't been) but I think they encourage more 'free' enjoyment (020 8607 9995). gymboree play

Don't feel bad about the Monkey Music thing...we also didn't fit the mould. I doubt many children at that age can sit still (neither of mine could) so we quickly left and never went back!

Jo Jingles is a national thing with local franchises. They don't dance exactly but there is moving around to music. Stick Jo Jingles into Google.
