Problems when going to school

Hi, my daughter who will be 6 in July has for the last 2 weeks cried every morning saying her tummy hurts and gets very worked up. She hasn't had a (bad tummy) but it's getting very stressful in a morning for us both. She knows mum cant just stay off work, I have tried the if you go into school without tears we will go to play area after school etc but nothing seems to work.

I am wondering whether she may have a bit of anxiety, I have asked her if she is worried about anything and she just says her tummy hurts.

Does anybody have experience of this and would a trip to the drs be extreme?

Many Thanks

I would certainly book a Dr's appointment, and also have a word with her class teacher, in case that sheds any light on the situation. Also check that she's drinking enough at school and at home - my DS2 feels sick if he gets dehydrated.

Good luck!

Thank you, today I told her I was going to speak to the Dr to see what he thinks. I bought her some multivitamins and said the dr said to give her one every day and itll make her better, that she needs to go to bed early and cut down on treats...her face was a picture 😂. Time will tell xx
