MY SON IS FIVE AND MORE RECENTLY HIS BEHAVIOUR HAS BEEN STRANGE. AN EXAMPLE IS THAT HIS BROTHER TRIPPED OVER HIS BIKE AND MY FIVE YEAR OLD REPLIED YOU NEED STABILISERS ON YOUR BIKE LIKE ME. HIS BROTHER AND FRIEND LAUGHED AND HE TOOK IT THAT THEY WERE LAUGHING AT HIM AND STORMED IN IN TEARS SAYING THEY WERE BEING HORRIBLE TO HIM. HE ALSO LOOSES HIS TEMPER VERY EASILY TOO AND PUNCHES THINGS. WHEN HE HURTS HIMSELF IT SOUNDS LIKE SOMEONES ABOUT TO MURDER HIM! IS THIS NORMAL OR DO YOU THINK HE NEEDS HELP. PLS ADVISE

Hi there. Could anything be worrying him if this behaviour is out of the ordinary? Do you know if he is having any problems at school? It may be worth your while to talk to his teacher to see if his behaviour has been more agressive in class too. Mind you, children change from minute to minute, so you might find its just been a blip and by next week he'll be back to his old self again. If not though, it might be worth seeing his doctor as it could be related to food allergies etc.

You're right Twiglett. Prob is nothing. Just thought if it is completely out of character and it has been going on for some time, might be some other underlying reason. Not trying to worry you birty!!
