Bum shuffling instead of crawling

My 7 month old is trying to bum shuffle but currently can’t seem to do it efficiently, but he’s really trying.
He hates tummy time and shows no interest in crawling.
I’ve heard this means there are problems later down the line, including dyspraxia.

I never crawled either apparently.

Apparently it’s more common if you have hard floors rather than carpet

Crawling is no longer considered a milestone, so it doesn't necessarily mean anything. Some babies just don't do it, and go from bum-shuffling to walking! Is there anything else you're worried about? As I wouldn't think bum-shuffling in isolation is cause for concern

Two out of my 3 were bum shufflers rather than crawlers, didn't cause any problems.

My DD was a bum shuffler and she didn't even start to do it until she was 8 months. Crawled at 10 months. She doesn't have any problems whatsoever.
