My sons nearly 4 & is asking for a toy kitchen. Which one would you recommend plastic or wooden?
I also have a 6m Old so he can play with it when he's older...

Either is great. We happened to get a plastic one which made a "cooking" noise when you put certain pans on the hob, but ds played with it just as much when the batteries ran out Grin.
For longevity the plastic ones are easy to wash, the wooden ones get chipped and will eventually need a repaint. But obviously plastic not very eco friendly although ours was second hand and is now on its third family since us.

Wooden would last longer and good for 6 month old to chew on lol x

We got the wooden IKEA one when my eldest was 2. Nearly 3 years down the line it still looks great despite pretty much daily use by her and her younger sister. Best value toy I think we have ever bought.
