Is this teething?

Hi all - DD is 16 weeks and has been chomping on her hand for a couple of weeks and dribbling a lot. This past week, she has been really cranky - doesn’t let me lie her down on her mat for very long and pretty much cried all the way through hartbeeps today (so out of character! She loves it)

This morning after she stuck her hand in her mouth she went into a horrendous angry cry and I’m starting to wonder if this is teething?

I’ve been reluctant to use calpol/powders at this stage until I’m sure (as I can be!) it’s actually teething.

What would you seasoned mums do?

She sleeps well-ish (waking at 11pm then 3am) but we have the odd night that she wakes every 30 mins. She’s FF.

Hi, yes this sounds very much like teething. My youngest started at 2 months and has all the symptoms you have described.

My 4 month old is the same at the moment, his gums feel really spongy as well and he bites down really hard on my fingers!! I'm fairly sure he is teething xx

My 16 week old has been the same this week. He’s so so dribbly too. I’ve been using the powders as I figure it can’t do him any harm.
