My DS is nearly 15 months. He has recently started hitting out at people especially my mum who looks after him two days a week Sadshe is finding it very frustrating and we are trying to find strategies. At the moment I just say to him, no, don't hit, use your gentle hands, you're hurting Nanna etc, and will often take his hand gently to stop him doing it or show him how to stroke etc instead. Eventually she just puts him down but then he whines instead. I know that hitting, biting etc is developmentally normal but does anyone have any advice??? I'm really worried he will start doing it at nursery. Blush
