Eyes squinting and pulling weird face

For the past few weeks I've noticed my daughter has been squinting - squeezing her eyes closed for a few seconds and then opening them again and also making a funny face, her lips seem to pout and also at times looks as though her eyes roll.
It happens a few times a day and i am really concerned that there's something wrong.

Please has anyone had any experience of this or suggestions of why she is doing it? Is it just a developmental thing?
I have taken her to a paediatrician and they weren’t able to tell me that they had seen this before, just that they see all funny things and I was advised to keep an eye on her, and if she loses consciousness or changes in colour when she does it to call an ambulance. None of that helped to put my mind at ease as they hadn’t seen this before in their patients.
So just wanting to know if anyone has experienced anything similar ? So I can try out my kind at rest.

How old is she? Sounds like my little girl with the eyes squinting and scrunched up face. I haven’t worried at all, think it’s just something she’s realised she can do

Could be a nervous twitch? My sister would scrunch her eyes closed when she was younger. Like a really hard blink.

She’s 17 months . She doesn’t seem herself though when she does it .
How olds your little one and has she been doing it for a while ?

Did she do anything with her mouth also ? And did she still respond to you properly whilst she was doing this ?
