7 year old boy friendships

Hi, can anyone give me any advice/experience around the above topic. My son is happy at school, and seems to have friends but they change everyday. Is this normal for this age group? And is other kids saying no you can't play with us an everyday thing? Don't like to think of him being left on his own!!

Hmmm I think a certain amount of change is normal and good but tbh my nearly 7yo has had the same group of three or four close friends since reception year, which hasn’t changed. That’s not to say that’s the ideal though. Sometimes it’s harder when he has a falling out with one of them as it really hurts. He has occasionally mentioned kids saying they don’t want to play with him but certainly not daily. I would be mildly worried about bullying in that case. Have you spoken to his teacher?

No, he's only said that once, just wondered if it happens to other people's kids too! He doesn't seem unhappy, and when I've asked the teacher about friendships, she says he's completely fine. I'm probably overthinking it all, so easy to do though!
