4 month old personality change

4 month old DD has been an absolutely dream baby so far, she wouldn’t fuss much, is quite happy to watch the world go by in her play at/bouncy chair. Since last week, she has started crying unconsolably if held by DH or my mum. This was a baby who would be happily cuddle with either of them while I spent time with DS or did other chores. Since the last 3 days or so she only calms down when held by me or fed. I’m quite happy to hold her but can get draining as I don’t get much 1-1 time with DS(4) who has been thankfully patient so far. DH tries to hold her to give me a break but she screams her head off in few minutes. Is this a temporary phase? She doesn’t have a fixed routine but averages 3 naps a day of about 30-40 minutes. She has couple of feeds at night and goes down without much of a fuss.

There's a massive developmental leap at around 4 months, so it will probably be linked to this and it will pass. If she's only catnapping then it may be worth trying to get an extra nap in at this age to prevent overtiredness too.

Agree re the leap. Could it also be overstimulation?
