Terrible Twos

Any advice on the dreaded "Terrible two's"

My son - he's 18 months old so we seem to have hit it early. The past couple of weeks his behaviour has changed dramatically. He used to be so shy and well behaved, all of a sudden he's biting everyone he comes into contact with. Including his six month old sister. Any time I tell him not to do something because it is naughty behaviour he does the exact opposite.

Guess I'm just wondering if there's anything I can do to ease the "terrible two period"

He will be acting on impulse at this age and telling him not to do something won't help much. Just say "no" and take him away from whatever it is our remove the object from his reach. And don't give a lot of attention if he does something bad - he might be interested in trying to recreate having you raise your voice and drop what you're doing to rush over!
