Hi, I was just wondering how much milk your seven month olds were taking with three meals a day?

Thanks Smile

A minimum of 20oz is recommended

At that age mine had 7oz in the morning, 4oz at around 11am and 2.30/3pm and 7 oz at bedtime

Do you mean formula?
I think thought they weren't allowed milk (ax their main drink) until 1 year.

Then you're allowed to give whole milk as main drink but with vit d supplement.

Mortality- hi yes sorry I meant formula 🙈

The bump says; A seven-month-old should be drinking about six to eight ounces of formula, four to six times per day. Breastfeeding: Seven-month-olds still typically nurse about every three or four hours.

I can't remember, but I think we always have ours too much so I shouldn't advise!

My wee man gets 8oz in morn 7oz at 2 with small soup/potato or fruit puree then 4oz at 5 with another small mean an then 8oz at night but not sure how i move this on or take a bottle away as he would go mad its a total comforter for him and dunno how to move him on afraid hes getting too much xx

SS1987 he wipl be 7 months next week. Am i way wrong? Im so lost xx

dementedpixie · 28/04/2019 23:13

I didn't give food and milk together so our day went like this: 7, 11, 3, 7 - milk feeds and 8, 12, 5 were breakfast, lunch and dinner. The milk slowly dropped until the 11 and 3 feeds were replaced by a snack and drink of water (around 9 and 11 months respectively).

Davera19- I'm the same, not much help from health visitor and so much conflicting advice. We were doing the same as demented pixie, giving milk an hour before feed but felt like it was taking up the whole day so we give milk feed with the solid food now and it's so much better. But still am unsure the amount of milk to give and the amount of solids
