How to switch from bottle to silly cup

My little boy is obsessed with his bottle, he uses a training bottle now but Ive found it impossible to switch him to a sippy cup.
Does anyone have any ideas ?
He won't drink from a cup, he goes to but then will run away😂 he only usually has some milk before bed & some water throughout the day but no matter what I do he won't drink anything unless it's from his bottle.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

Have you tried just switching one thing for the moment? I'd tend towards the milk and then once he's used to that move the water over. How old is he? It's one of those things that plenty of mothers of little ones worry about but at the end of the day it always works out, ever met anyone who doesn't drink?

We ended up having to go cold turkey with my DS as he was over 2yo and very dependent. He basically just stopped drinking for two days apart from tiny amounts but was fine after that. At 2.5yo we went cold turkey on silly cups and after a few days he was fine with an open cup.
