A good friend of mine is at her wits end and asked me if i would consult the great goddess that is Mumsnet for some advice!
Basically her 2yrs old Ds, by day, takes his nappy off every time he needs a wee and just wees on the floor (wont go in the potty) - this is not such a problem because at least he is starting to realise the need to go, BUT by night whilst in his cot he takes his willy out of his nappy and the next morning his nappy is therefore dry and EVERYTHING else is soaking wet. My friend has tried lifting him to go (but he wees too much to make this feasable) She has put him in those vests which do up underneath in the hope that he cant get into his nappy (he always finds a way!!!) - either out the top of the nappy or out of the leg) ANY ADVICE GREATLY APPRECIATED

Sorry not experienced this myself. Would it be worth trying a grobag/sleeping bag or would he be able to undo the zip anyway?

Would something like this help as they are rear fastening and hopefully harder to take off ? I haven't used them myself so I've no idea what they are like.

how about Totsbots? they are quite high in the rise, and very snug both round the leg and the waist- I bet he couldn't get his willy out of one of those!!

My 2 year old can get her Grobag off, but probably couldn't if it were put on back to front.
