Thumbsucking 6 year old

Just wondered if anyone had any advise on how to stop a six year old sucking his thumb? He did have a comforter alongside the thumb, which we managed to get rid of. However he just uses any blanket/soft fabric alongside his thumb instead now (only in bed now)

Anyone any tips or advise? Thanks

you could try putting one of these on at night time x

I second the Thumbsie! My 4 year old was an avid thumb sucker day and night. He wore these for a few weeks and no longer sucks his thumb. He still has them on at night so that he doesn’t go back to thumb sucking while he’s sleeping. They also stopped him putting his hands down his pants the whole time 😜
