Hello all

Really having a tough time with my 7yo son .. since he was 5 his behaviour had gone down hill he's horrible to his siblings he throws things he's naughty at school hitting being rude ... today his school have phoned me to say he and a friend had graffitied a school wall with swear words 😭... I'm heart broken he hits me when he doesn't get his own way we've tried sitting him down to talk about his feelings we've tried negotiation we've even taken him to the doctors . He shows no remorse for the bad things he does ... I'm so upset and at a loose end with what to do ... We are always taking the children on days out but he's rude while we are out ... we try our best to make his life amazing and exciting but we Just feel like we are failing ... his siblings have no behaviour issues at all . Just don't know what to do ☹️ Xxx

What have the school said ? Are they pushing for him to be labelled in some way? Is he bored at school? He could be really clever and jsut not challenged enough.
Don’t feel it’s your fault as parents we always feel we are failing them somhow x

That's exactly what the doctor said .. they think he's under stimulated ... he's being internally excluded for the writing on the wall . In September he is going to a much smaller school as the one he is in at the moment is huge massive classes 2 classes per year ... the new school is 28 children per year more one on one help .x

It sounds as though you have a supportive doctor who doesn’t want to jump and label him which I think is brilliant. I have a post on this thread asking if my 6 year olds behaviour is normal. I feel school want to push her into ADHD bracket because she is isn’t a robot. It annoys me so much that you are scared to speak to teachers about any concerns now as it’s a label
