My 5yr old ds is never happy with what we are doing always asking what we are doing next or nags. I.e its half term and asked him what he would like to do. Wanted to go to the arcades. Planned a day, as soon as we are there, hes asking when we are going on the beach. Said prob not cos its too cold. We are not even in arcades by then. When in arcades saying oh the beach looks nice there are people on there when are we going. Tell him again its too cold etc. Spent loads in arcades but its like hes never satisfied. As soon as we are having food hes on about ice cream. Its constant no matter what we are doing. Its like he cant be in the moment and enjoy it. I listen to what he would like to do but then when we are doing it, hes onto the next thing. What can i do or say cos its driving me batty.

This sounds like my son. It's so tiring and sucks the fun out of anything. My son is on the spectrum and I battle with this daily.
No advice but want to give you a virtual hug x

Livininaprison thanks me and dh were talking about it and we have decided not to tell him too far in advance. Just go on the hop. I pre warned him today any nagging and we are going home. Helped a bit.
