Will he ever stop pulling other kids hair?

DS will be 1 at the end of September and for as long as I can remember he has pulled other childrens / adults / his own hair. His pulling of my hair drove me so crazy that I had mine cut short. He is constantly after his sister trying to grab her hair and he is the same with other kids at toddler groups / friends homes. My friend today told me that her son has nicknamed him the "hair-pulling monster"!! His own hair is thining on top where he pulls it.

Has anyone else got / experienced a hair-pulling child? I would love to know that this is only a phase and he will stop - hopefully very soon!

My 18 ,month old boy pulls my hair and dd's. Sometimes he has been known to pull out great handfuls of her hair. He doesn't do it spitefully, just enjoys all the fuss and screaming that it causes. I don't know when he will grow out of it. My other two ds's didn't do this. So, I have no immediate good news to offer you but thought you might like to know you are not alone.
