4 year old DS - angry and frustrated

DS is 4 and a half (sept birthday in pre school year) and has been so angry and frustrated over the last 3 months. Really hard work, every tiny thing (shoes, teeth, bath - in and out is a constant fight).

He is also a bit violent, he will hit me when cross and all his imaginary games are about fighting and ninjas.

I am so bored of it (and him!). It is hugely affecting my enjoyment of time with him and family time in general.

He is badly affected by games (as in on iPhones) so we have stopped them but it hasn't helped as much as I'd hoped.

You're definitely not an underpar Mum. Four can be a difficult year and one of the reasons for this is that Ate-natal depression can peak leaving you frustrated, angry or disinterested in your child.

If you're finding his behaviour hard to manage, have you read Calm Parents, Happy Children? Smile
