SHAKING LEGS 6 WEEK OLD?

My son is now 6 weeks old and has been suffering with shakey legs. We have an appointment for when he's 3 months old to see if it is neurologically related but I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this?

They don't shake all the time. They will do it every now and then probably about 5-10 times a day, sometimes just one of them, sometimes both. For about 3-5 seconds each?

I’m afraid I don’t have any real info about this except to say that my DS had slightly shaky arms and a chin quiver for the first 4- 6 months of his life. My GP said it was due to an immature nervous system and he’s since grown out of it. There is a lot about baby chin quivers on the internet but less so about trembling limbs so I’m glad you’re getting it checked out for peace of mind :)

No experience here either but agree you are right to get it checked.

It might be worth filming the shaking to show your GP too as these things can sometimes be hard to visualise.
