I know this is a phase, it’s been going on a week now since we returned from our holiday. LO is also teething.
LO has an active day; we go the the park most day, long walks in the area, toddler play groups and do activities at home.
But when it comes to nap time. She doesn’t want to nap and even at bedtime she will listen to the story then goes straight to stretch my face when I pick her up.
Partner has been putting her straight into cot for time out when she behaves this way. She then cries and cries but doesn’t settle to sleep. I pick her up for cuddle and usually after few attempts she’ll go to sleep.

Any tips on making this phase a little easier.
And how long will this last? Confused

Thanks

Both of my DDs ditched daytime naps completely at 18 months.

They just wouldn't go down so I stopped trying.

I used to have to work quite hard come 6pm to keep them active and happy so they'd stay awake for bedtime at 7.30. But then they'd sleep all night.

Occasionally one of them used to fall asleep if I was out with her in her buggy in the afternoon...the motion and just sitting there would send her off. I just used to let her sleep then...and push bedtime to 8.

Some children just stop naps earlier.

Thank you for your reply FortunesFave.

Funnily enough yesterday, LO did manage to nap for an hour and half. I went back to our routine we hadbefore Christmas etc... But yes, maybe the naps will stop soon.
LO seems so exhausted though throughout day.

Thanks again
