3 year old angry and aggressive

Hi, can anybody help. I don't know what to do anymore. My 3 year old ds behaviour is getting worse and worse. He screams, he shouts, he hits, he bites, this all happenes of me or his dad tell him no, or he does something naughty and gets told off. I don't know what to do. We've tried talking calmly to him l, we've tried the naughty corner nothing works.
Is it something I'm doing wrong? Am I just a bad mum? He's my only child and I'm just lost in a sea of confusion and anxiety.

I see this happen to much. A lot of the times kids who are Conakry being told what to do or being told not do something in a negative tone act out. Pretty much try treating him with respect. Talk to him and treat him like you would to your partner or friend. The whole "naughty" word ananoys me because children are new to this world and everything is new to them. Imagine you going to a different planet and seeing loads of new things around so you touch something and someone comes up to you and says "stop being naughty!!" It's like you don't even know what you did wrong. When he does something you prefer him not to do, speak to him about it. Ex: he's banging on something and it's annoying you. Instead of "stop!" Try "do that softly, it's really hurting my ears." If he does it again. Say "if you can't do that quietly I'm going to ask you to put it away." He continues "put it away please." He doesn't want to "you put it away or I will, choose." He still doesn't want to. "I'm going to put it away now because you didn't choose." Then you put it away. He can scream shout. Just walk away and let him deal with his emotions. Kids minds are too immature to simply say "stop doing that" also try going up to him and going down to his level so when you ask him to do something you're looking at him face to face. Kids tend to listen better that way. Another tip. Distraction. Ask him to help you around the house. At 3 kids scan literall do anything! My son is one and he helps my cut vegatables with a crinkle cutter. He helps me mop he helps me do everything. They love it and it keeps them busy!!
