rolling over worries

my ds of 5 months has just started rolling onto his front. this is great in the day but he gets very frustrated and cannot hold his head up for very long. He has been in his cot for about a month now and we are using a baby safer sleeper as well as some rolled up towells (under the base sheet) as even before he could roll over he moved about the cot and would wiggle into the side waking him up. I am now worried if he rolls over in the night he wont be able to lift his head or the towells under his sheet will smother him?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. As per usual I am so excited by something new - then the worry kicks in!!

It won't be long until he is capable of rolling over completely but try not to worry. I think the general advice is back to sleep but not to worry if you find them on their front. If when you go to bed he's on his front just turn him over on to his back if it makes you feel more at ease. DS was a late roller but since he can roll on to his front to sleep he sleeps much better, however I still out of habit put him down to sleep on his back.
