Hi! And no he's probably not teething although you can't rule it out completely. Baby's explore everything with their mouth. He is going to literally put everything in his mouth including his hands. I read that baby's have these tiny nerves around their mouth, when they put their hand to chew them, it actually stimulates these nerves which then helps their digestive system digest their food. Interesting isn't it lol also, it's a really good thing to give your baby lots of different things you're comfortable with him chewingX it's great for his sensory development, hand eye coordination, and motor skills. My husband didn't like him putting things in his mouth, but it is very important that you allow the baby to get that experience. Like I said to him, if you think of anything like a hanger (example) do you know in your mind what it feels like in your mouth and answer is yes! And the reason is because at some point in our life we have put everything in our mouth. Its human nature. Lol ah sorry, I'm getting ahead of myself 😂 I studied child development in Uni.. it's my passion. 🙈

@lovely36 omg thank you so much that's such good information to have🙈 please can you be my guide on all things baby??😂 sometimes I feel like I don't have a clue what I'm doing as he's my first so I just panic about everything and ANYTHING!! I've been giving him at the moment a nuby teething dummy but he hates it and makes him gio so he goes straight about to his hands! Xxx

Yes! Lol 😂 xx don't worry.. you can always look up on google for tips. My son never had a dummy.. he didn't like it. Which ended up being a good thing cause I didn't have to wean him off it. But I used to give him literally anything I thought was safe for him to chew and put in his mouth. A lot of people don't know how good it is for baby's to explore so they take things off them. But not me, I used to give him spatulas, spoons, balls (clean) literally anything that was safe. He did whack himself a few times but it made him more careful on how he handled things. Ah there's so much interesting things to know about babies 😍 I highly suggest googling like "3 months baby development." Or whatever month your baby is, it's really interesting. Xx
