How longs does baby’s separation anxiety last?

He’s now 8 months and I literally can’t move away from him with him going crazy, crying and shaking. It’s like having a very heavy newborn.

I can’t get anything done and he only naps if I’m next to him. Someone tell me this ends before they’re one?!?!

Hi my son was exactly the same around that age. Yes it passes probably in a few weeks. It gets much much easier when they can walk! I also couldn't move, it was very exhausting!

My daughter was exactly the same at about 9 months. It was a nightmare, she grew out of it within a few weeks though. She screamed everytime I left the room, she was walking at the time as well she she would cling to my legs crying screaming, I couldn't do anything. Anyway they do grow out of it, just give lots of reassurance each time you leave the room.
