Only started last week, when I took him out the bath he held onto his winkie and was trying to cover it with the towel. He then sobbed until I put his nappy on.
Its still like this, only he holds it the whole time hes in the water and then wants me to put his nappy on straight away, plus last night before he got in he said 'no wee mummy' so I asked him if he wanted to use the potty and he sat on it for a bit but nothing (hes still in nappies).

I took him to the drs last week to see if he knew but he didnt even look and said it was probably the bubble bath

Its fine the rest of the time, like at nappy changes and wiping with baby wipes, just bathtime which is weird

Can anyone help?

have you tries using no bubble bath?

mosschops30 · 25/06/2007 10:12

yes but it makes no difference, the horror seems to start as soon as he knows hes going in, although he still wants to go, if i ask him if he wants a bath hes up the stairs like a shot

Could have been the bubblebath? If it stung, and he associates stinging with bath then it might freak him out. Can't use bubble bath with dds as sensitive skin and they both get sore bits.
