Wedding reception

Hi all, our baby is due very soon, due date was on Monday so exciting times!

I had one question, it's my brothers wedding reception in February first week. Baby should be around 4-5 weeks then so Wondered is it safe to take baby there with loud music or rather not? Would cotton wool in ear or something help mellow the noise or would they be ok with the loud music? Sorry first one and no idea on this!

I wouldn’t worry: I can’t imagine a wedding reception would be that noisy.

In our Indian reception it's usually full on dj music dancing and food. Would I still be ok?

It will be fine. If you are worried buy some baby ear defenders but don't put anything in their ears.
