18 month old started to walk on tip toes

My DD has been walking since 11 months normally and over the last free days has started to walk on top toes every so often.
Is this a normal phase toddlers go through it does it indicate something wrong?
Thanks ☺️

Did she use a walker? This happens when a child uses a walker.. you can read all about it online. That is why they are discouraged. Children are given a false sense of balance not to mention they don't learn to carry their own weight or learn to balance themselves.

No he didn't 🤔 He just took his first steps and then he was off and mastered walking quite quickly.
It just seems although he's playing a round recently and maybe finding new things?

Totally normal, in some screeners it is even classified as a development goal - if this were to happened on a 36M old where 90% of their walking was on tiptoe then it would be concerning.

Mine seemed to do this when he'd had a growth spurt - I've heard it can help them to be more in control of their balance. He also did it when the floor was cold! Xmas Grin
