Reception aged ds suddenly having accidents at school

Ds (5) has suddenly started having accidents at school (wees / poos) in the last fortnight. He's been successfully potty trained since he was 2.5. He's attended the school nursery prior to starting reception and he's settled well in reception. There haven't been any major changes at home (aside from building work but that started weeks before this sudden onset of accidents). DS said he's fine using the toilets, the teachers have said anyone can use the toilets at any time. He said after his first accident that the boy beside him asked to go and the teacher said no so DS didn't want to ask in case he got told off. I've checked this with the TA and she assured me they can go at any time. The toilets are in the classrooms so they don't have to leave the room to go. DS's teacher pulled me aside at pick-up to raise her concerns. Aside from starting potty training again (albeit remotely), does anyone have any ideas? I'm at a loss of how to tackle it without making a fuss.
