Hungry baby!

My 19 week old baby seems to be getting more and more hungry. Since the day she was born she's fed every 2 hours, she's now having 6oz every 2 hours (occasionally 1hr30) during the day and finishing majority of the bottle, and has gone back to getting up for a couple feeds a night (it's definitely hunger, gets up, has a bottle, then fast asleep by the time it's finished so not unsettled at all).

Has anyone experienced this? She's on aptamil, we tried cow and gate for this reason on hv advice when she was around 2 months but it gave her colic so we switched back, annoyingly it was working with filling her up a bit more!

Should I try hungry baby formula? I'm a little sceptical but if she's hungry I'm unsure what the best option is, hv said just keep feeding her but she just seems to be getting more and more hungry!

Thank you in advance 😊

I'd just up her feeds. My DS was small born and has always been slightly smaller than average for his age but by 19 weeks he was on 8-9oz every 4 hours (he had dropped his night feed of his own accord).

I wouldn't personally move to hungry baby as it's well known to constipate babies and it's more than okay to up her oz's. It won't make her a "big baby" or anything of the sort. If she's hungry, she needs it for her growth Smile

How much would you say she’s having in total in 24 hours and how much does she weigh?
