Face bigger on one side

Hi

Looking for some advice please

My 8wk old baby girls left side of her face is bigger than the right side. This is mainly her check & chin.

She mainly sleeps on her left side as well.

The doctor noted this down when I mentioned it when he saw her for an eye infection a few weeks ago & said it should even out on its own but if not he will look into it.

I am now quite worried about it & think this side is getting bigger. We have a check up next week & will ask the doctor about it

Has anyone else had this with their child? Why was it? Did it resolve its self? Did they need treatment?

I’ve not experienced it no, but I would take some photos. You’ll need them as a benchmark if the GP does refer you next week

Hi, I might be too late for this but might she have torticollis which has led to flat head syndrome? Thst can lead to assemetry of the face. My little boy has it (but no asymmetry yet). Worth googling anyway. Best of luck!
