Question! My DD is 5 months old she sleeps between 11-12 hour during night with 2 feeds and sometimes 30 min wake up times. But during the day she only have three 30 min naps. She self settles half of the time sometimes need some patting to fall asleep.I can get her out of that cat napping habit. She is very happy, eats well and is very vocal. AIBU to worry? Every where I look such a short naps are said to be very bad but she still gets around 13h sleep a day.

Nope the catnaps are fine, but a good nap would be better If the first one is soon after the night it might be a continuation of her night pattern. Hopefully, she will soon move to one wake a night and a shorter wake up time. Move to settling her in her bedroom for naps and self settle, you might get a longer day sleep which would improve things, by 8 months there is no nutritional need for a night feed, it is a comfort feed
