Messy play stress!!!!!

Hi all,

My DS loves messy play and I love doing. The only problem is he just sits and eats whatever I've put out for him rather than play with it despite me showing him how. Can anyone give any tips? This happened to anyone's little ones?

Depending on his age that's a very normal thing that little ones do. They use their mouths to help them explore things. The best thing to do is make sure the messy materials are safe to eat so it doesn't matter if he puts it in his mouth.

I always knew what play doh DS had played with in nursery as it came out in his nappy!
