5 month old not interested in holding anything

My 5 month old baby girl has little to no interest in holding any toys, rattles etc. I even bought her a circular ring to hold but her thumbs are pretty much rested in her fists. I've tried to encourage them to come out and she does hold my fingers with a full hand grasp but does anyone elses baby struggle with this or can you tell me what your 5 month old is doing hand wise? My 5 year old son has always learnt everything really quickly just concerned that her lack of interest isn't quite right.

You can ask your HV if you're concerned. How is she in relation to other milestones?

She is a lot different to my previous baby. She's dare I say it alot lazier than my son. Just is quite chilled and happy to lay there. She now grabs her feet laying on her back alot but she's not sitting up and it's just her disinterest in holding anything. It's like it's a chore for her and her thumb is almost fused into her hand at times. When grabbing her feet though her thumb comes out x

Again, I'd ask your HV. Every baby is different but it does sound like there is a slight delay here.
