Too long sat in high chair?

My 8 month old DD has started pulling up on furniture but a very wobbly and I have to be there with her whenever she is playing as she will head for the nearest object and pulls herself up!

This is fine of course unless I actually need to do something like make dinner or hang out washing etc.

I put her in the jumperoo but obviously she can only be in there for 15 mins ish. As a result she’s spending a lot of time in the highchair playing with toys. Is this bad for her hips or back or anything? I’m at a loss how to get anything done otherwise, also have a 4 year old to get ready etc.

I used a playpen at that age think that would be much better. I know they take up space but safety first and it really isn't for that long

My youngest spent a lot of time in her high chair, as I was often looking after 3 kids on my own. Try not to worry I'm sure she will be fine! Give her a break of half an hour or so if you feel it's been too long.

Agree with pp maybe a playpen would work too. You could use a travel cot if space is an issue.

Thank you, we do have a travel cot but she isn’t keen on being in it - woo look into a playpen thanks!
