DS 1 aged 5 is DESPERADO for a Tamagotchi, he even is doing chores off his own bat eg: picking up toys, passing me things, going to bed when asked etc - all in the hope he can have one! What are they exactly, key ringy things that beep and you have to feed? Is he the right age? Where do you get them from? What should I make him do to ensure he earns one? I have a v v v v demanding 4.5 month old clingy DS2 and I don't feel like being annoyed by a beepy thing - I am selfish! HA HA HA!

6yo DTDs got them for their b'day. They love them to bits. You do have to feed them when they beep - but there are also little games on them to keep them (DTDs & Nunu the tamagotchi) entertained.

You can get them loads of places. I would recommend getting the v4 ones as you can pause them if you go out/whilst at school etc. so you don't end up looking after it to stop it dying. I don't think you can pause the v3s or below.

Yes you can get a job and go to school with v4. You can even go to tamaworld on the web.

Do you know what there is even a tamagotchi equivalent of MN!!!
