Going out my mind!!!

My 24 month old girl is sending me insane. She's so naughty. She doesn't listen to anything. She climbs all stair gates, kitchen sides, windows and the dinning table constantly. I try to do things to keep her entertained which works for a short amount of time but she loses interest so quickly. She throws everything not even out of temper she will be colouring and then just throw all her pencils everywhere out of know where. Don't get me wrong she's unbelievably intelligent for her age. She goes to nursery for two days a week and they tell me all the time how clever she is. She can be so loving and clam but she is just such hard work. I'm absolutely exhausted with it all and I have no idea how to get her to stop. I'm so worried I have a baby due in a few weeks and I honestly don't know how I'm going to cope. Please tell me this is not just me overreacting?

They do have a pretty short attention span at 2. How long would you say she will colour for?

If she’s bloisterous, is she getting much time to run about outside or physical activities like Rugby Tots, swimming or Gym?

There’s a book which you might find helpful called Calm Parents, Happy Kids and some advice here on feeding a baby whilst trying to look after a toddler.

There are loads of ideas to try to keep her entertained on Pinterest too and lots don’t need much effort from you. I particularly like the big cardboard box and crayons Smile

Have you bought her a doll too so that she can look after her doll when the baby arrives?

My son is 2.5 and throws things constantly! It drives me insane. I tell him no and he still does it. I've tried every technique I can think of. He is such a lovely little boy but just screams or throws things all day long!! I will be following this post
