Horrendous tantrums and lashing out

So my little girl is just over 2.. 2 years 4 months to be exact, to say the terrible twos has hit is an understatement! Now I can cope (to a degree) with the stropping. Tantruming, constant battles over little things and her favourite word "No".. what I can't cope with is the lashing out towards other children, it has literally come out of nowhere. She can hit them randomly and just constantly shouts no- Even if they haven't done anything(quite frankly she can be down right nastyBlush). I know it's probably an age thing as it seems to be a territorial thing but does anyone have any tips on how to nip this in the bud, I don't want her to end up being avoided by other children.

This has literally only started 3-4 weeks ago, but it feels like it's getting worse. I've tried telling her off, sitting her away etc but she always continues straight after. I feel like she's got anger issues!

Might be helpful to add that I'm also 28 weeks pregnant. She doesn't seem to comprehend when I tell her but could it be a contributing factor? I hear toddlers can sense an imminent change with things such as a new baby arriving.

Hi, I can sympathise. My son is three and a half and he has suddenly gone extremely emotional, crying all the time, not liking nursery.. Bursting into tears if we say no to him....
I'm 7 months pregnant and wondering if this is to do with it..
He's not much of a talker at nursery and the staff want me t get the health visitor involved. He also likes t play on his own and doesn't interact very easily. He doesn't hit other children BUT he has started shouting no in a deep growly voice at other children which are putting them off playing with him.
It's amazing how emotional it can make you! I worry about him all the time and worry its forever! X

smorgas have Nursery got any specific concerns? How’s his speech at home?

user has anything else happened apart from the imminent LO? How is she in herself? The back molars usually come in about now, could she be teething? Has she got a temperature? How’s her speech?
