I have an 11 week old baby girl and recently shes had episodes where she just screams and I have no idea what's wrong, she's also putting her hands in her mouth like she's hungry when she's definitely not? Any advice? Thanks in advance

Putting her hands to her mouth is definitely not a sign a hunger, much more likely that she’s just found out how to do it.

Is the crying going on for long? Could she be overtired?

I'm pretty sure they have a developmental leap around this stage so that could be a factor. To be honest, it's quite normal for newborns to go through these spells and usually they become a little more clingy. They're going through leaps that are making them more aware of their bodies and the world but they're still so little and you're their only safety. Lots of cuddles should help. I know it's easy to say but it will pass. It feels like forever when you're living with it but she sounds completely normal and you will both come out the other side Smile

Can't recommend the Wonder Weeks app enough for the leaps by the way. It may help you understand some of the changes in her behaviour - it definitely did me!
